Fujiko Takimoto is the female voice actor, or "seiyuu," for Young Link. She has worked on a variety of video games, anime, and television shows. Perhaps the most recognizable are her roles as Taki in Soul Calibur and Suguru Fujisaki in "Gravitation". While it may seem odd that a woman should voice Link, females are often given the role of voicing young boys. Sometimes they venture even further than this, as is the case in "Rurouni Kenshin" where a woman (Mayo Suzukaze) voices the adult Kenshin.

Takimoto's hobbies include playing computer games, darts, and singing karaoke.

Nobuyuki Hiyama has enjoyed a full career, being cast in everything from "Sailor Moon" to "Initial D". Hiyama voiced three characters in the GameCube version of Soul Calibur II including Nightmare, Yoshimitsu, and of course, Link.
